ADHD Women are often diagnosed in late adulthood, with their traits largely remaining unrecognised or misdiagnosed as mental health issues. Clinical trials have evidenced mindfulness as an effective self-management tool for ADHD. The study aimed to utilise mindful praxes in a group design research context, exploring the diagnostic lived experience of ADHD Women as an informant of future healthcare services.
my design approach begins with curiosity and a deep desire to understand the interplay of social context and human perspectives. The resulting design may be to develop visual communication tools, increase environmental participation or cultivate behaviour change, map digital user experiences. Each output is underpinned by practical empathy, visual responses and reflexivity.
